Sir.Teddy's Blog
That's right, I'm a blogger now. I've always wanted to be a girl blogger, and now I am. And I'm goated asf.

me when I blog
I've never blogged before, but given that this is my first, I'm so excited. I just graduated high school, and I'm starting my life as an adult now, so I think writing about it as I go along will help me process everything.
This will also give me a space to yap about my upcoming projects or things I want to do in the future. This is a personal blog, so I don't intend to make any money, but I will enjoy talking about games, shows, books, music, and art.
I'm going to participate in a 30 Day Blog challenge, where I talk about 30 different topics everyday. I think this will give me a solid blogging foundation, and I won't have to come up with a new topic every day by myself! The goals are:
I think I'll have a lot of fun with these. I may have to figure out a configuration that works for adding pictures, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out. For now, I'm very excited for tomorrow so I can do the first prompt, and I'll see you then.
Don't be a stranger!
It's me! :D
Okay, first ACTUAL blog and day 1 of the 30 day blog challenge. No pressure. If you are unaware, this is me! I have different glasses now, but this is my favorite picture of me. Today is the “10 Facts About Me” prompt, so I'm excited to properly introduce myself!
While I'm passionate about art and writing, it's not something I'd want to base my career on given how unstable it can be. I want to be a preschool teacher! I've always loved working with kids, and to have a hand in the development of little minds is genuinely an honor to me.
I've shown maybe 15 of my characters online, but my google docs know that's just the tiniest TIP of the iceberg.
People that know me irl know this, but I love to perform. I love to sing and act and be on a stage for nearly any reason. I'm a little bit of a show off.
Not well, but I'm able to play a single, very simple song. If you want to play an extremely easy song with simple tabs, Icarus by Luvbug is the one. Super pretty, very easy, GO!
I've got, I think like, 21 so far? A modest collection, but decent given how expensive these things are. I have a basket in my room worth more than someone’s paycheck…
I typically main bard, but I want to play a monk or a paladin more. Specifically monk, because I love monks.
It's volunteer work, so I don't get paid, but I absolutely love it. I love the outdoors and (as I mentioned) I love working with kids, so this is a win win.
I'm mixed race (Black and white), so a bit of both helps me feel more connected than if I picked one or the other. I literally can't, they are both a part of me.
a. It had around 70 members (people's OCs) and was the most fun I've ever had on the Internet. I genuinely loved it. I wanna go back.
I would confidently tell myself and others that people didn't have chins, and therefore, I shouldn't draw them. I do not know why, and I still don't get it.
This was actually kind of hard. Like, coming up with 10 interesting things about me that aren't just “I like pickles 🤪” or “I hate chickens ”. Like those are basic and not enough for a good blog, at least to me anyway, but also, what would I know about a good blog? I'm excited for tomorrow's prompt, because I love quoting things, and sharing those will be fun.

My gender lol
I know I was supposed to do these daily, but I’m taking “daily” very liberally now. Just like me! :D. I’ll just be doing them whenever I feel like tbh. But, luckily for everyone who cares, I feel like it right now.
I really enjoy being a girlblogger. Also, for anyone who’s like “why do you call yourself a girl when you’re nonbinary!?!?” I think girls are cute, and I want to be cute. So even though my gender is a nebulous concept condensed into they/them pronouns, it’s a very cute nebulous concept.
Anyway, let’s get to the topic at hand. I love quotes, I quote them all the time. Most of my quotes are from songs, because I can only think in terms of music and TikToks I saw yesterday.
My favorite quote is “It is what it could be!”, said by Sofia Lee, née Bicicleta. She’s a monk from my favorite D&D show, Dimension 20’s The Unsleeping City. I got choked up just typing that. It’s one of the most beautiful pieces of media I’ve ever seen, and I wish I could relive my first time watching it. It’s silly, I know, but I think that show will be in the 7 minutes before I die and my life flashes before my eyes.
That quote is specifically from the second season, which isn’t as good as the first, but it’s still incredible. As I mentioned, Sofia is a monk, specifically The Chosen One of The Concrete Fist. A monastery located in Staten Island, whose mantra was “It is what it is”. She defied that, said that awesome fucking quote, and kicked some ass because she always does.
Another one of my favorite quotes came from that show, and this is from the first season. I cried just reading this.
"My love. For you are my love. My one true love. You don't need to enter, you're already there. And you don't need to be real because you already are real."
This was said by Misty Moore, a runaway fairy and Broadway actress who, in this, was speaking to the American dream. It wanted to become a real physical being, and no longer just a concept. However, to go from such a big and influential concept to flesh and blood meant that everything born from that concept had to be minimized, and thus, destroyed.
Plus, the dream was becoming one man’s dream. The dream of a capitalistic bastard that only cared about money and power, so the dream was being minimized to fit that ideal.
Everything in New York and the rest of America was born from the American dream, and for it to be minimized to something so base and greedy was a horrible way to go. Misty came to New York because of the American dream. Because of the freedom that came with it.
That dream meant something to her, and it means something to me too.
I'll get there one day
As I said before, a lot of my favorite quotes are from songs. I keep coming back to the poem at the end of Joan, by Elio Mei.
“I'll twist and I'll change
My name rearrange
Time makes us inhuman
“I'll live and I'll die
But if immortalized
You'll never be you again”
It’s a really pretty poem, and specifically I think of the “I’ll twist and I change, my name rearrange” part. I changed my name when I was twelve, going from one plant to another, but it was a big time of change for me, and I resonate with that.
The rest of the poem is much sadder than that, but I’ve always been fascinated with change as a concept. It’s the one thing we’re always trying to document but can never capture. I’m afraid of change, as most people are, but I try to embrace it. Nothing will ever be stationary, and one day I’ll die and stop changing.
What an interesting thought.
I hope I never see smth like
this in the woods
I have so many more quotes, but if I named them, this would be too long. And I don’t want to write anymore. I might re-visit this prompt in a second part, because I genuinely really enjoyed it, despite crying at how much I love that show.
The next one should be much shorter, given that it’s just a picture of what I’ll be wearing that day, so be on the look out for that. Hopefully I’m not dressed as a bum, but you never know.
Don’t be a stranger!
I wish all CDs looked this cute
Tada!
Okay, so I LOVE this outfit, but I do have to address some rumors about it. Considering that I actually haven’t taken a picture of my recent cute fits, and I’m not leaving the house today, I decided it’d be best for me and my family if I just use a pic from a different day.
I know, it’s technically cheating since it’s not a pic from today, BUT this outfit is so cute, and it was my 1 month anniversary fit, so it has sentimental value. It’s also the outfit I based by Meet The Artist fit on, and is one of my favorites.
I’ve been flip flopping between hippy, clean girl, and cunt recently. I wear a lot of browns, blues, whites, and pinks. I also wear quite a few flannels. That white outfit with the blue scarf is an example of my cunt fits, but then I have a brown body suit that is so cute with this gold necklace I have.
Most of my clothes are either thrifted, stolen from my mom, or given to me by friends. I honestly don’t like main-stream retail stores because they never have my size, and there’s something so rewarding about stumbling upon my wardrobe. Just like everything important to me, I build my closet brick by brick. I also feel like because everything looks good in a retail store with how they set things up, I get less excited about the clothes when I get home and try them on.
It’s easier to find actual good clothes when thrifting, because they stick out in the sea of mediocre granny clothes. Like, if the rest of the shirts say shit like “My SON is a PEEHOLE MAN! You will not TAKE HIM!”, it’s a lot easier to find the shirts that are actually cute.
Like anything looks good next
to some shit like this.
Fast fashion is a problem that I think will only get bigger, so while I think there are some people who just thrift because they want to be niche, I hope they continue doing so, and when they’re done with their clothes, performitly donate them. Because A. Regardless of the reason, they’re still helping to reduce the effects of fast fashion, and B. Why anyone does anything is none of my business.
Trends are trendy for a reason, and if someone is reducing waste just because of a trend, I say let them. I’m not one to argue my nicheness, because I’m literally in some of the nicheist fandoms in the world, so I have nothing to prove. Also, if being niche is your only personality trait, you need to have that taken away from you so you can branch out.
Tomorrow’s prompt is 5 goals I have, so that’ll be fun. I’m in a state of transition in my life right now, so it’ll be interesting to document what I think my goals are now so I can look back and see if they change. For now, I’m gonna log off.
